Hello Sunshine is working on a movie adaptation of new Dolly Parton and James Patterson’s bestselling novel, Run, Rose, Run. Dolly Parton herself will both star in and produce in this new film.
Run, Rose Run is centered around Annie Lee (aka Rose) who is a tough, driven, and talented woman. She goes to Nashville to chase her dreams and make it big as a songwriter and singer.
She keeps having physical encounters with men who would do her great harm but always manages to escape and recover very quickly from her injuries.
Run, Rose, Run was published on March 7, 2022 by Little, Brown and Company and rose to the No. 1 spot on the New York Times bestseller list.
Parton also released a companion album of the same name on March 4, which also became a No. 1 song on the Current Country albums, American/Folk and Bluegrass charts.

About Dolly Parton
Dolly Parton is an American singer-songwriter, actress, and businesswoman, known primarily for her work in country music. After achieving success as a songwriter for others, Parton made her album debut in 1967 with Hello, I’m Dolly, which led to success during the remainder of the 1960s.
Her sales and chart peak came during the 1970s and continued into the 1980s. Parton’s albums in the 1990s did not sell as well, but she achieved commercial success again in the new millennium and has released albums on various independent labels since 2000, including her own label, Dolly Records. She has sold more than 100 million records worldwide.
She is one of the most-honored female country performers of all time. The Record Industry Association of America has certified 25 of her single or album releases as either Gold Record, Platinum Record or Multi-Platinum Record. She has had 26 songs reach no. 1 on the Billboard country charts, a record for a female artist.
