Spanish photographer Frank Diamond (born in April 29, 1990 in Lleida) began his self-taught artistic career at the age of 22. His surreal photography works are largely characterized by dark and dramatic themes.

One can usually see mask-wearing characters in his photographs. “I usually use masks as a way of showing characters whose faces and characters contain secrets and unleash fear. This also helps me submerge my imagery in a cool and subdued atmosphere.” artist remarks.

“Most of my art shows fears and insecurity of human beings. I consider myself a photographer of dramatic moments and beauty and drama are almost always present in my work at the same time.”
Frank’s photo-pictorial style has a distinguishing effect of transporting the viewer to magical and sinister places. He defines his photographs as a visual diary where he expresses how he feels and vindicates his thoughts.

He is currently working on two new projects: A new series titled “Aqua” and his second photo-book “Mutants”, a project that talks about people who are judged and despised for their physical appearance.
